I have been using for 14 years ...daaily for 8 to 10 hours...most common side effects for me are dryness redness irritation..so you need to put eye drops daily ...daily cleansing lens..and using lens from good brand and use only for 6 months then get a new one

Yes sir these are the complications of soft contact lens which has lesser dk/t with lowest oxygen permeability but RGP lens have 80 to 100 dk/t value which donot cause hypoxia to that severe level..ofcourse every thing has side effects but RGP lens has minimal...also patient education and training is of prime importance...that's the reason we always have training sessions for patients where they are taught about care and maintenance of lens
