Gallstones Signs & Symptoms, Why They Occur | Cholecystitis, Choledocholithiasis, Cholangitis

Having gallstones within the gallbladder is known as the condition of cholelithiasis. When stones are large and move into different parts of the biliary tree (after leaving the gallbladder), they can cause several different medical conditions (ex. acute cholecystitis, choledocholithiasis, cholangitis), each of which has different signs and symptoms. In this lesson, we discuss the anatomy and purpose of the gallbladder, along with the signs and symptoms of each of these medical conditions.

Normal day, no symptoms. Then BAMMM right upper pain, ( pain level 9) for hours. Got admitted they wanted to give me norco n send me home. Paint level 9. They admitted me and removed my gall bladder. It was scarred in and full of stones. I’m laying here in recovery. Thankful.
Very informative video.
They said it was years and years of how I have eaten and now I have lived a vegan lifestyle for the last year. A stone got stuck in my duct and the gall was very inflamed. It was 3 hours for my surgery. They said it was one of their worst 😜.
Thankful to god and for the knowledge and experience the surgeons had🙌

I had Chloethiasis and Acute Cholecystitis last 2021 and my gallbladder is removed due to polyps as well. This video is indeed insightful. It's been 8 months after my surgery and I try my best to live a healthy lifestyle 💓

This video is EXACTLY what I've been suffering. I have a CT Scan this Friday to diagnose. I had no idea that the gallbladder could also cause this shoulder blade pain!
When the pain is hitting me, it's BRUTAL. Almost unbearable pain. I've almost called the ambulance twice.
Thank you for this vid!!

Great video explaining everything. Very understandable. I like the visuals and progression of the different types of diseases. This makes things very clear. There are information here not found in other videos about gallbladder problems with stones.

Great explanation. You don't talk to people like fools and introduce the "technical" language to us well. Thanks for your hard work!☺️

Mary....I had my first baby at 18 and both of us suffered with toxemia and thanks to the Lord we both lived. Then 15 months later. At 19 1/2 I had my gallbladder removed. From 14 yrs. old to 55 yes. old I had debilitating migrains.
I am now eating a vegaterian/vegan diet and have never felt better, and the happiest I have ever been!
