Today, we’re going to talk about the most common symptom of gallstones and natural remedies for gallstones.

It turns out that the most common symptom of gallstones is having no symptoms at all. 80% of people with gallstones don’t experience any symptoms until the situation worsens.

Other symptoms of gallstones or a gallbladder problem:
• Pain or tightness under the right ribcage
• Pain under the right rhomboid
• Pain in the neck that runs up the side of the face
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Bloating
• Belching
• Jaundice
• Dark urine
• Pale stool

Gallstones can form when a person has high cholesterol and a lack of bile. Bile helps thin and eliminate cholesterol. A deficiency of bile is the real problem.

The gallbladder is an important organ that helps you store and concentrate bile and absorb fat-soluble nutrients.

Bile sludge is a common problem that can also cause pain, even when there aren’t any stones. Bile sludge can occur at different times but can be a complication after having your gallbladder removed, causing some of the same symptoms that lead you to have surgery.

Risk factors for getting gallstones:
• Pregnancy
• Birth control pills
• Obesity
• Type-2 diabetes
• Liver disease
• Constipation
• Low folate
• Taking PPIs
• Consuming a high-carb diet
• Consuming a low-fat diet

Natural ways to help get rid of gallstones:
1. Take purified bile salts and probiotics
2. Consume salad
3. Use acupressure
4. Decrease your insulin (do intermittent fasting and go on the keto diet)

My mothers doctor ignored all the symptoms and told her she was just bloated. She had to go to the hospital after an entire year of pain and died there. I wish i could turn back time and prevent this.. thank you for making more people aware of the symptoms so situations like these are less likely to go that far

I had gallstones in the December 2014. I felt sick after eating fatty food. One night after another big meal i had such a pain under my rib that i had to call 911 to come and get me to the hospital. In the hospital i got injected with morphine and i felt so much better but i had to stay in the hospital for 5 days. It was 2 days before Christmas. Doc told me they need to remove my gallbladder after the holidays cause he is leaving to Europe for Xmas. After the holidays i felt better so i let it go and never showed up at the docs office. 5 months later i ended up in the hospital again. This time with Pancreatitis. The stones left my gallbladder and got stuck in a bile duct. So removal oF my GB was no longer needed. Doc put me under anesthesia and put a long tube in my mouth all the way to my stomach where they pushed my 3 stones into my intestines . I flushed them out later. So i got to keep my gallbladder and im perfectly fine for 9 years already 😊

Just a warning note: Some years back my mother ended up in the hospital with classic gallbladder symptoms. All the imaging didn't reveal gallstones so their plan was to send my 80 y/o mother home on pain management. I like to had a fit. I did my own research and discovered a little known gallbladder issue that primarily occurs in elderly women where the gallbladder twists and it does NOT show up on imaging. I contacted the Director of Nursing and told her that my mother was going home on pain management over my dead body. The surgeon called and I explained to him what I had discovered in my research. He kind of blew past that but said he had consulted with her cardiologist and he would operate. After the surgery he came out with a bemused expression and said: "It was kind of just twisted up in there". BINGO I replied... If I had accepted their findings, my mother would have gone home, gone septic and died. If you have elderly family members who have gallbladder issues with no stones, inform their doctor, and if they ignore you, fire them and get another.

I had a pain on the left side of my tummy area a few years back. Doctor said it's probably gallstones and we have to remove your gall bladder. I said to him my gall bladder is on my right side, not left side, but he still suggested that I have it removed. Turned out I had a kidney stone on my left side.

I had seven of those ten symptoms. That's why I got online and did a sweeping search for information and help. I found your many videos, Dr. Berg. I purchased your Gall Bladder Formula and two bottles of Tudca. It doesn't work overnight. But with consistent use ( along with timing and fasting ) I was cured in about 5 to 6 weeks. Zero symptoms. The only time it comes back now is around holidays when I break routine and eat holiday foods that spike my insulin.
At this point I have nearly forgotten the intense pain and discomfort I once experienced from my gall bladder. Your video reminds me though. And it is good to remember that pain and discomfort every once in a while. There is no more powerful motivator than the avoidance of that.
I am grateful for your work and the work of your most excellent team, Dr. Berg. You are all in my prayers. Take care and have a great day.

This has to be one of the greatest and informative channels on all of You Tube. I am 46 and need to take better care of myself. My diet isn’t the greatest and I have to turn to more healthy alternatives instead of pizza and burgers.

It is impossible to overstate just how grateful my family and myself are for the big-picture insight you give for different conditions. I'm literally crying from the years of medical gaslighting I experienced that you cleared up in a single 8-minute video.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🙏

I sure wish I'd had this information 7 years ago. I had so many of these symptoms! I had emergency surgery in 2016 to remove my gallbladder, which was rupturing. I almost died. I truly feel that if I'd had Dr. Berg's information back then, I could have avoided this surgery and near death experience. I learned the hard way to pay more attention to the signs my body sends me. 57lbs down since 2021, I am dedicated to staying healthy. Love Dr. Berg!

I've had two gallstones between 2018-2019. I did extensive research on it and decided to keep my gallbladder. The first year after my last gallstone I reduced my intake of fatty foods by a lot. I lost 30 lbs of weight (making me underweight). In short, the reduction of fatty foods DID NOT reduce symptoms of gallstones. I had constant pressure under the ribcage and gassy after every meal. My body felt unhealthy. I started researching more and discovered taking 1200mg of lecithin after every meal has dramatically reduced symptoms. If I felt pressure in my gallbladder I could take a pill and the discomfort will decrease within 15-20 minutes. I now eat whatever I want (including vitamins and minerals everyday) with very...very little issues. I've gained back 35 Ibs and have never felt better. I hope this helps.

I had symptoms for probably over a year and always thought it was something else. I had it taken out. Unfortunately, I had awful complications from the surgery, but I'm still here!

This is some of the most succinct & helpful information on this topic I have ever seen in 9 minutes, and I've been a medical professional for 20 years. Dr. Berg is such a blessing.

My friend went in to have her gallbladder out and they found out it was cancerous, sewed her back up.. Sadly she was gone in 6 months. Turns out it was more than stones. I wish she had known about your site. She was a vegetarian and a high carb/sugar eater. Several members of my family have had their gallbladder out and not one doctor has ever mentioned bile. I do low carb but I also take digestive enzymes with bile salts if I eat a heavier meal.

So timely! Earlier this week my husband was diagnosed with gallstones and the Dr immediately wanted to schedule for surgery. We put the brakes on it. We had cut sugar out, low carb not keto and do intermittent fasting now. First thing we said to each other was “lets see what Dr. Berg has to say”. Hopefully the bile salt will make the difference. Interesting how the scheduler said “oh you don’t need your gallbladder, I don’t have mine. But then shared story about how badly shed had pancreatitis.” We watched several other of his episodes on the gallbladder and excited to see this mornings episode was on topic for us. Thank you Dr. Berg!

I suffered for 2 years, constant nausea with horrendous belching. Even though a CT scan showed gallstones, no one could diagnose it. 2 miserable years. Finally got it out, the surgeon showed me a pic, it was ready to burst. I asked repeatedly if it was my gallbladder, no one listened to me. Had problems after the removal, saw GI specialist, couldn't help. Saw a video of Dr Berg, started his gallbladder formula pills, feeling much better. Thank you Dr Berg!
