I went on keto, and six months into it I had a couple small attacks, but one took me to the ER. My naturopath and I decided that my new keto lifestyle made my gallbladder actually start working hard for the first time in my life, but it was backed up with stones, and got angry. Ever since then I've been pain free. However, I never knew that weird pain in the back was a symptom of gallbladder problems. If I had known, maybe I would have saved my trip to the ER. I'm glad Dr. Berg makes these videos. We need to educate ourselves. =)

THANK YOU ERIC BERG!!! I am trying to implement what I have learned from Dr. Berg..I have lost about 11 lbs in one month trying to follow Dr. Berg's recommendation about vinegar and eating a lot of cruciferous veggies while getting protein mostly from cheese and small portions chicken or beef. I am also making broth on occasion - sort of like the paleo diet. My sweet treat is usually dried figs from Costco and I have eliminated almost all the fruit from my green smoothies which I make with a Vitamix. I have cut out grains and the high carbs completely - and drink lemon or vinegar water, or occasional coffee, and water.
The knowledge that Dr. Berg explained really helped me take control of my eating. Especially the insulin resistance, but also gall bladder and liver function which are part of the process of fat burning. I had GERD and constipation and now I am getting in control of both - but the constipation has taken about a month to improve. I think I probably have inflammation in my colon too. About two years ago I was diagnosed with inflammation in my esophagus where it meets the stomach prescribed an acid reducer which I took for a short while but didn't want to be dependent on. I then had an episode around the last week of April this year where I felt a lot of pressure...I was concerned it was my Gall Bladder, or fatty liver or something. I had gained almost 20 lbs after menopause and couldn't get any of it off for 5 years, even after swimming a mile 3 times a week for two years and trying to eat healthy. Then I stopped swimming for about 6 months. . I have had the experience in the past that when I exercise, my body will not burn fat.

My current weight lost I attribute to finding Dr. Berg's videos and his commitment to teaching people like me. I recently restarted my swim routine which I think will be successful if I can get into ketosis. He explained the processes so well that I really have regained confidence that my metabolism can be repaired if I do some fasting for fat burning. I am loosing slowly now because I am not doing the extreme fasting...I usually stop eating around 7 pm and eat again between 11:30 am - 1pm the next day. So I try to get about 16 hrs of fasting in per day.

Ive had these symptoms for like 20 years. Went to so many doctors and gastroenterologists. Had several endoscopies. They never found anything wrong and just gave me random pills to try that never worked. I just started taking betaine HCL and gallbladder enzymes and cannot believe I actually feel relief and no pain. I’m just shocked and so grateful for your channel and at the same time mad at all those useless doctors out there 😭😭😭 Every doctor needs your training

I got my gallbladder removed at 14 - had gallstones and repeated gallbladder attacks very badly for weeks to the point where it sent me to the ER three times. I was very young and not overweight so they never checked (I’m in Canada lol they want you in and out of the hospital ASAP.) they sent me home multiple times with tylenol assuming it was a simple stomach ache. Nobody believed how bad the pain was!! I finally went back after almost a week of not being able to keep any food down, they finally ran some tests and realized the gallbladder has swollen and a gallstone has gotten lodged into the pancreas giving me pancreatitis as well. They sent me in for emergency surgery that day. I have been through a lot but nothing like gallbladder attacks - worst pain I have ever experienced in my life. So glad i had it removed.

the big achievement of last century was medecine, the big achievement of this century will be to discover we do not need meds to heal and that the body is perfect as long as you eat and drink simple natural food.

The information you are providing in the videos about the gallbladder is what I have been looking for for months! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I went to the doctor about eight months ago and she basically wanted to give me meds that caused the same symptoms I was having. I had to raise hell to get an ultrasound to see that I had sludge. They wanted to remove it. I said nah, did a couple cleanses, been taking bile salts and a few other supplements and following a keto diet with fasting. I have felt great, typically the only issue arrises when I hit fat burning mode in my I have a major gallbladder attack... do you cover this in any of your videos?

And thank you for reaffirming that we know our body best, gallbladder surgeries are performed way too often, and many of the same symptoms occur after removal. Listening to other's opinions on the subject is exhausting and I appreciate the knowledge you are sharing.

I actually had to have my gallbladder removed on my 26th birthday due to gallstones. I was in excruciating pain for days but I initially thought I had pulled a muscle in my ribs & my right shoulder at work or something. It was *AWFUL* to say the least.
Over a year later, I end up in the hospital again with the SAME PAIN & I did not know this, but you can STILL GET GALLSTONES even without your gallbladder! I had to have more gallstones removed in June of last year. I am 28 now. I will be 29 in February & I pray to God I never have to go through that EVER again!
The pain was unbearable & it was constant.

Dear Dr. Berg, could you explain: when bile builds in gallbladder over night and during the fasting time, is it good for your gallbladder? Or it's only accumulating after you eat food?
In one of your videos you said that you don't want to skip breakfast because it would put you in a starvation mode that you don't want, and in other videos you are all for intermittent fasting. But isn't that when you fasting you are in starvation mode and it's when bile builds up in the gallbladder and gets thicker and as a result the stones are created?
Thanks

Thank God I found your videos! They want to remove my gallbladder and I don't want to. I'll try your formula right away. Also I'm on the Keto diet, is it a trigger to gallstones?

In my thirties, I got gall stones, and had my gall bladder removed. Some doctors then said it was because of eating fatty foods or too much spicy foods. I was never a fatty or spicy food eater. My daughter also got gall stones at the age of 19 and had hers removed. The doctor when I told him by others, that it was caused by eating fatty foods, or too much spicy foods. The doctor who I was dealing with, said this was incorrect, and that gall stones can be hereditary as three people in my family had problems with their gall bladder, and had it removed. At that time, I was not told that one could find a natural way of removing them. I still today am a healthy eater, and exercised most my life. Just putting this out there.

Both me and my husband have been taking it for about 6 weeks now. He doesn't eat keto but takes it to help with digestion since he had radiation for cancer last year. He has been suffering from months with his food just sitting in his stomach and bloating for hours. Within 2 weeks he was so much better and he doesn't miss a dose with his meals. I was having pancrease pain (the pain was more left than right) and started taking the gallbladder formula along with ACV and upping my veggies. Within a week the pain was gone. My mom had her gallbladder removed at the same age many years ago so I assume I was having issues with mine or related area. Something I can eat now with no burping is chili! I have never been able to eat it without issues(even eating it keto style), but now I can eat it with no issues!

Dr Berg. After being on a ketogenic diet for 3 months I had a gallbladder attack passing a stone that resulted in pancreatitis. They removed my gallbladder stating that it would happen again and that my pancreas may be permanently damaged if I didn't. I got it removed but can't help but wonder why it happened if I was eating keto and in ketosis. I am still on the ketogenic diet because I really couldn't see how I would change my diet for the better by going back to eating carbs. But this occurance made me wonder about the diet. I checked labs the day before (I'm a nurse) and my My triglycerides were 25, hdl 104 and ldl about 78.
