Knowing what causes gallstones is the first step in really fixing the situation.

In this video, I want to share with you what causes gallstones. Gallstones are really cholesterol stones. This situation isn’t really caused be consuming too much cholesterol. The real cause may be that you don’t have enough bile to break down cholesterol stones.

Bile is made in the liver and is stored in the gallbladder. Bile helps you dissolve fats in your diet. A low bile situation is actually a symptom of something else.

Low bile could be a symptom of:
• Excess estrogen
• Excess cortisol
• Excess insulin
• Low-fat diets
• Constipation

To help dissolve the stones, you would want to increase your bile by pinpointing what’s causing the low bile situation and correcting your diet. In the meantime, bile salt also dissolves gallstones.

I had all the symptoms in my late 40's. FINALLY went to a Doc. and he immediately scheduled me for gallbladder removal surgery the following week. Me being me I sought a second opinion. Got an MRI and a prescription for URSODEOXYCHOLIC ACID pills. About 8 years later now. I've been to the Docs for a prescription refill twice and I'm still fully intact.

Dr.Berg. You saved my gallbladder. I have had IBD for over 20 years. In March 2023 I had a different pain than I am used to… ended up in the ED and was diagnosed with gall stones and a very inflamed gallbladder. I was directed to contact a surgeon ASAP. I called my GI and watched your videos regarding gallbladder. I ordered your gallbladder formula and started it within a week of the Dx. I have been on a no refined sugar and no flour food plan for almost 2 years and I have slowly lost 172 lbs…. I don’t eat fried or greasy foods. I knew that I needed a change that was not just dietary…. The pain eased dramatically within 2 weeks. In April I have had a IBD flare and once again ended up in the hospital… my exam showed that I have no gallstones and my gallbladder is healthy…. Thanks.

At age 32, I lost 50 lbs. too rapidly and developed gallstones. Sounds like it was my low fat diet that did it. My osteopath recommended for me to take taurine to clear my gallbladder. I had the surgery because of the pain....now at age 67, I wish that I had tried the nonsurgical route since I can't eat many types of foods. Avoid gallbladder to heal without it with diet and good will be glad you did.

Ok...I was on the fence, but had ultrasound in Nov/2021. it revealed a GB stone. I started his gallbladder formula right away, watchful to reduce fat intake. Had a few days of feeling off, gut upset. Internist ordered another ultrasound this week. Result in today. No stones. Used product from late November/21 until January 17, 2022, so about 60 days give or take. Must have passed.
It doesn't get much clearer than that! Wow, very impressed. Thanks Dr.Berg♡

Many years ago I was having horrible attacks of gallstones. At the time, the gallbladder cleanse was popular so I did a cleanse and it cleared up my problem totally. But I did not want it to come back so I started taking Chanca Piedra and after some time I switched to taking sunflower lecithin EVERY DAY and using it in my food. I dropped the Chanca Piedra and continued the sunflower lecithin and to this very day I have no gallbladder problem at all. I highly recommend using sunflower lecithin every day in some form. Cooking with it is very easy, especially if you make your own salad dressing. Add sunflower lecithin to salad dressing prevents the dressing from separating. The lecithin has no taste.

One thing is missing, prolonged water fast with no fat. That is how I got them after a 20 day water fast. Bile and cholesterol thicken too much in the gallbladder without being released to digest fat. Similar to low fat diet. Now when I fast, I have a teaspoon of olive oil in the morning

I feel like crying honestly. I have Sickle Cell Anemia and that is what is causing my gallstones. I can’t change out my blood so I will try all of the solution mentioned in this video and stick to the one that works. Thanks doctor!

In the US they told me they have to remove my gallbladder - I declined.
I started to look for other solutions and it worked.
However, as an engineer I was thinking about WHY we are getting gallstones and come to the following conclusion:
Now, in modern times more and more people have gallbladder problems even though they "eat healthy and have a low fat diet". Wherever we go we see low-fat this and low-fat that. Everywhere!
That got me thinking:
The gallbladder fires when our system detects a fatty meal and use the bile - as explained in this video - to dissolve the fat. And so on. The liver refills the gallbladder.
Now with our low fat diet the gallbladder is out of work and the bile just sits there and therefore - as you can see everywhere in plumbing - it corrodes and builds up stuff: stones in example.

That's why I started to ditch all this so called healthy food recommendations of the government and started watching Dr. Berg and others and eat meat, eggs, butter and the like. Healthy natural fats.
I exercise and trust in my Lord Jesus Christ.

How did I miss this video?! I thought I watched every single DB liver and gallbladder video on here. I'm waiting for my bile salts, but my digestion has gotten a bit better since I started Betaine Hcl and ACV. 😊 Anyway, so Dr. Berg, could you please do some more PANCREAS body type videos? I did your evaluation quiz and found out that I have insulin resistance and was pre-diabetic! Just like my parents and my grandmother. Anyway, I'd really like to learn more about how to eat and fast for my Pancreas body type and would also LOVE a video on HOW TO RESTORE AND TAKE CARE OF MY PANCREAS. Thanks Dr. Berg, and please keep 'em coming! 🌻

Three years ago my doctor diagnosed me with gallstones and sent me to the surgeon to schedule an appointment to have my gallbladder removed.
I cancelled the appointment and didn’t have the surgery but sometimes I feel some pressure and discomfort.
I will try your supplements, hopefully my stones will dissolve and I don’t need to have surgery. 🙏

Just received your gallbladder formula capsules and excited to implement this to my recent keto diet! Hopefully will be able to improve my gallbladder and dissolve the stones. Will keep y'all updated in 3 months or so after another scan. So far, I feel amazing just from the keto diet, no more gallstone pains along with some accupressure. Thank Dr Berg you are amazing and I will always be grateful of your generosity in sharing free information to us all that really need it.
