Even lying in bed is painful. 😢 I usually say I wake up feeling like I've been run over by a bus in the night 😢😢

Magnesium before bed, reflexology foot mat and KSM treatment gives me some relief. One day at a time… 🙏💪

I’m really sensitive to light and noise. It’s exactly like listening to the radio turned up way too loud. Everyone else says it’s fine, but you just keep reaching your limits. It doesn’t matter what anyone else says, if it’s all you can take, then it’s all you can take.

I've had it for over 20 years and it has gotten worse over the years. Then 6 years ago I caught Lyme disease and all symptoms have doubled. It has completely removed me from everyday life. The pain I feel 24/7, 365 has me screaming and crying quite often, begging for relief. Some days I think of checking ending it all but then my two wonderful dogs would be alone.

I've been up all night with a migraine 😩. No matter what I take it wasn't working so I gave up on sleep and made some coffee. It helped quite a bit along with advil i had to take 3x through the night. I'm so glad this question was asked and answered well! I'm in pain all the time and I can't stand loud noises. Chronic fatigue, pain, insomnia and joint stiffness etc etc gets exhausting.

It’s like having the flu with body aches & fatigue 24/7. And having a full body sunburn.

I have it too. Sucks on weather changing days for me. Luckily I have a great team of doctors. Mine really flares up with stress. It isn’t fun. I so understand how you feel ❤❤❤.

It's like living with a full body toothache

I have found that controlling emotional stress is key, boundary setting really helps. Keeping oneself safe from abusers is so important. The body keeps score. Nutrition is also huge, sugar reduction is really helpful.

I have a friend who has it. I want to understand better how they feel. This explanation makes it a bit more clear to me.
Two days ago I woke up with pain all over my body. Laying down was painful, or even sitting. It turned out that I caught a smash bug. Huge headache. I wonder if my friend feels that generalized body aches every single day. This is a very shitty illness. 😢

I totally agree! Sometimes it feels like my pain sensors are on overdrive. Small stimuli for normal ppl are amplified for me. 3 requirements are in my world: adequate sleep; consistent low impact exercise regimen & stress avoidance. The latter is difficult of course but I try to avoid it if possible.

I completely agree that it’s a nervous system problem. I am no doctor but went through years of research to discover this on my own and from that moment I found out to heal. I have cured myself and been living pain free for around 6 months now and getting better every day ❤

Sometimes the breeze from a fan feels like tiny knives slicing my skin.

It's hell is what it is. Then, you have little pharmacy techs looking down their nose at you

I have it too 😔 But my family doesn't understand. They think that I'm being lazy and overdramatic. I too want to have a normal life.

Well said!! I've had it for about 8 years, and it feels worse. Misunderstood as an imaginary pain 💔

This is a good point.
But you could also have insulin resistance, maybe even some VitD, zinc, B1, or Mg insufficiency from too many refined carbs or added sugars. Too little exercise or sleep can add gasoline to your fire. They all can cause symptoms of fatigue, moodiness, brain fog, gut issues, muscle or joint pain, swelling, etc.

There's a lot of overlap, and doctors don't often check your insulin + C-peptide or most vitamin levels. They say your sugar is "normal", and wait until you're mostly diabetic, then throw a pill down your throat for it.
exercise, sleep, Vitamin D, magnesium, zinc, iron, and BERIBERI are all massive, common global deficiencies that are overlooked.

The weird thing is that I can bust my chin open, get up and feel perfectly fine. Then a bad fibro day comes and my legs literally feel like they’re about to snap in half.

Broke my nose, didn’t bother to see a doctor. Didn’t see a doctor till I developed fluid buildup in my lungs, and didn’t see the doctor till my double ear I faction caused permeant damage visible on my scans to this day.

While I can say that only around 5% of my fibro pain reaches the level of massive ear infection, it does honestly feel like a toothache all acrossed my body. Worst in my rips, cheekbone area, lower limbs, and wrists.

There have been days where I was in so much pain that I was bed ridden for over a week. The worst part is how bad it feels to act like “such a baby” when you know it’s just your pain system overreacting.

Spent most of my teens in deep pain, only for my family and school to treat me like I was making it up. “Get over it, stop being lazy”, that fun stuff.
