I've done this on SMPs by rebuilding my very first base (and light house) that I made back in Minecraft Alpha, then updated over the years. It's amazing to see all of the detail new blocks add to builds in each version.

I wish you could use allays to build buildings like you can use robots in factorio. It would be awesome if you could just put down a schematic ghost and have your minions pull from your chest and build for you

I made a friend of mine a crane a while ago, then was looking around some of his builds just a bit ago and found the design, I've never felt happier to have a builder on his level use one of my(apparently not garbage) designs, felt great.

I do this all the time! Taking builds I really like that I've built before and changing up palettes, roof designs, certain details, etc. to fit whatever style I'm going for.
