How to Reset Forgotten Password in Windows 10 | Without Losing Data

📌 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀

Step 1: Download an iso file

Click file name to download the iso file,

Step 2: Download Rufus Software

And download the software

Step 3: Copy the iso file to pendrive

Open rufus software, insert empty pendrive

Once your pendrive is detected, click select

Select the iso file that you have download on your system,

Click ‘Start & ok’.

To Find your bios key click the link in the description,

Check your computer type & see the bios key,

Now insert the pendrive where you want to reset password,

Restart your computer, And keep pressing your bios key,

Once you get bios screen, find boot menu option,

Now make sure your pendrive is first in the list,

Now ‘save & exit’ And you will be able to access your computer,

To reset the password, go to Start, search ‘NT Password edit’

Click open, select your account for which you want to reset password,

Click ‘Change password’ & reset your password.

Helpful a I'm struggling in login to my microsoft account which the password has forgotten. When I'm trying to reset, it says I've exceed to reset limit and it gave me the url of profile details which have overwritten before... Could you please find out an alternate process to login.

i thought this would work but when i open rufus it asks for user password :(
i think i have a laptop where ik the user password but it is very very slow.

Hi. This is a great video explanation and I followed your steps. The USB Stick was prepared via Rufus and I selected some USB boot options. In every setup, I get the error "This media cannot boot in Legacy mode". Any idea to solve this? Do I need a different ISO file? My mainboard is from MSI (A68HM Grenade). Thanks for any hint. Bro I do all the process, after changing nt password edit the main os login not taking that password again I insert USB and I try unlock password after that also not reflecting in main os.
