What happens when a cop pulls over another cop?

On June 6, 2023 a Seminole County Sheriff's Deputy on routine patrol pulled over Orlando Police Officer, 35-year-old Alexander Shaouni for driving 80 mph in a 45 mph speed zone. When the deputy caught up with Officer Shaouni, authorities say he didn't stop and drove through cars to avoid the deputy. During the stop, footage shows Shaouni dressed in police uniform driving a marked Orlando Police Department SUV. Body camera footage shows Shaouni becoming angry.

Shaouni was charged with resisting an officer, reckless driving and fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer. Orlando police said Shaouni has been relieved of his duties pending the Sheriff’s Office criminal investigation as well as Orlando police’s internal affairs investigation.

no one should be above the law and especially for police officers who should be an example to the communities they "serve and protect"

I love how Ray always does actual research and finds out what happened after

Nice to see another cop not letting another cop get away with breaking the law

He shoulda been charged with evading a police officer.

He clearly thinks he has too much power. 80 in a 45 is absurd and the way he yelled at him and drove of is crazy

If cops in Florida are getting punished properly for this stuff, then I don't understand how other cops get barely any punishment

Most of the time if they act like this, they usually get a week suspension

Props to the other cop for not yelling really loudly like the other cop

Gotta say, I like this ending. Usually, something like this ends with the offender getting a slap on the wrist

Police should be held to a HIGHER standard than everyone else. Instead half the time they don't seem to be held to ANY standard.

A cousin of a friend tries his hand at being a cop basically for the power trip. Sadly he made it but didn’t last more than a month or two because he kept running red lights. Thankfully he was fired.

To get fired means they didn’t want him on the force and took the first opportunity to get rid of him. With the way he jumped out of the car and his attitude I can see why.

If the cops themselves don't respect the law, why should the average citizen respect the law?

At about 55 seconds, an ordinary bloke would get perforated. You know, "Officer Safety"?!
