Uvalde officer fired amid uproar

Documents show the city’s school district knew an officer it recently hired was under investigation for her response in the Robb Elementary school massacre, but hired her anyway.

I feel so much sorrow, disgust, and anger after hearing that officer. Heaven forbid if your son's day care was being attacked and you weren't there...wouldn't you want the police to do everything they could to protect him? That's what those parents were trusting the Uvalde PD to do just that.

It's crazy that they stopped and put handcuffs on a mother that wanted to save her kids, and they let her go and she runs into the school twice and saved her kids and others. Wow!

Edit: The reason this quote made me mad is because it shows that even the officers knew what they were doing was wrong. There was another officer that pushed his way through all the officers because he thought his child was there. I believe there was a parent that tried to do the same thing but she was blocked off and if I remember correctly she got in a lot trouble for trying to go in.
