They're "Embracing Accountability" That misdemeanor assault charge instead of a felony assault charge shows just how much the "Embrace Accountability"

What about the other officers who witnessed it and failed to intervene?

Being fired is not enough they need to be charged and jailed.

If you're a passenger in a vehicle that's been stopped for whatever reason, the stop relates to the driver only. The passenger has the right to refuse to identify, as there's no reasonable/articulable suspicion that he's committed or is about to commit a crime. Don't just give cops your ID - they're more concerned with padding their arrest stats rather than giving a shit about you.

Sad thing is.. the poor guy didn't have to give his ID. He lied, said theta needed to know if he could take the car. If it had no plate they wouldn't let it go anywhere. Plus you don't have to id as a passenger unless they suspect YOU of a specific crime.

"Sit down!"
Guys sits.
"Get in the car!" While grabbing on the guy.
Do the cops think people can just move any direction when they are being grabbed and pushed while handcuffed?

End qualified immunity, hold all police accountable for their actions. Always film the police they lie

Absolutely disgusting how can this officer get away with a misdemeanour assault charge, this is a complete disgrace!!!

They fooled him into giving up his ID. Then decided to mess up the stop by beating him while cuffed. Sounds like this department needs reform as well. Smh

Passengers are NOT required to provide ID unless the cops have RAS, that they have committed a crime.

If I beat someone in handcuffs it would be a automatic felony

That “officer” should get ten years. The other “officers” for not intervening in this abuse should get five years.

The American Government should be taken to the Court Of Human Rights to face charges of forcing innocent people into a tiny space at the back of a Police Vehicle, often with violence.

The cop being fired is just for public consumption, he really was able to resign keep his pension like they all do.

Passenger remain silent and record. Refuse all questions as the formalities of a traffic stop pertains to the driver only. Not the passenger. Also there must be charges for other cops b/c failure to intervene and report this malicious out of line behavior.

Let’s be honest, that cop was never gonna let anybody drive away with that car. I didn’t have plates he was fishing and he got himself a big one cause he’s out on a hunt. You see these cops are predators. They’re always on the hunt.
