I treated one of my clients with this routine, along with Massage on her arm extensors & flexors. Within 2.5 weeks, she returned to show me that the nodule was practically gone and she had 90% smoother range of motion. I'll continue until results are complete.

Bob and Brad. You ARE the best physical therapists on the internet. I have followed your instructions and have seen positive results. My thumb is now not completely locked upon waking and is not painfully snapping back into the correct position.
The nodule is still there but with that pressure point treatment I am hardly experiencing any pain all day long. I am so incredibly happy I looked up your video. I will continue with your suggested treatment and if that nodule disappears I will be a very happy person indeed.
I am also following your treatment choices for plantar fascitis. Needless to say I am one of your biggest fans.

I've had 2 successful carpal tunnel surgeries and six successful trigger finger surgeries. For the first two trigger finger cases, I opted for surgery with anesthesia. Anesthesia is overkill. Big hassle too...can't drive yourself to and from the surgery...someone has to drive you there and back. Can't eat after midnight before the surgery...The next four trigger finger surgeries were were done under local anesthetic. Didn't feel any pain during or after the surgeries with the local, which by the way took about 15 minutes each to accomplish. After each of the surgeries using local anesthesia, I put on my clothes and drove myself home.
I'm diabetic and odds weren't in my favor for success with the injections. I had injections on 2 trigger fingers. One has lasted 5 years now, and the other failed in a month and I opted for surgery with a local. Recently my left index finger began acting up trigger finger wise. I'm going to book surgery with a local when this Covid-19 crap dies out. BTW, I'm a professional drummer and guitarist with 50 years under my belt and a trigger finger can be a real show-stopper. Good luck and take a pass on the injections. You have NEVER felt pain like when the doctor is moving the needle around trying to find the sweetspot...It hurt so much I wanted to slap the doctor.

Thanks. I felt a difference immediately on my thumb using your first 3 techniques. . I used a small superball on the table to do the cross fiber massage. The stretch worked really well. I just didn't use the ice. I find that warmth to work. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. You guys are great.

Thank you for the reminder about apple cider vinegar! I’ve developed trigger finger on both ring fingers. I used the technique of massage, which didn’t help much, the exercises didn’t either, but after two days of ACV, my pain is 80% gone! I’ve used ACV in the past for digestion, but it works great for trigger finger too! Thanks you guys!

I did a big gardening job during the summer that made the palms of my hands swell badly. Once the swelling subsided, I developed trigger finger on my ring finger. Your video explains very well the issue, I wanted to thank you for the treatment recommendations. I was also surprised that two doctors could make me a laugh.

What a great video!!

After 40 years as an auto mechanic, i over- exerted my RH middle finger, (tightening the head bolts of a marine V8, with one hand only, the left hand was on the motor to prevent it from rotating, i was by myself, and the motor was suspended in chains from the crane!!) and it got painful and it started to snap at the 1st pulley of the middle finger after that; this was 6 months ago; i started (mild, i did not know better) compressions, now indicated by the doctor, by instinct, and by the net and youtube, before seeing this video, and also the finger extensions, and it no longer snaps;

But if i exert a lot of grippin forces on my job, the pain and "half-trigger" comes back, and disappears in 2 or 3 days; it is not fully healed

Would it be wise to install some sort of splint to keep the finger straight during the nights?
