Commonly known vitamin C deficiency symptoms:
• Bleeding gums
• Fatigue
• Loss of collagen
• Lowered immune system
• Increased risk of biofilms

Vitamins are cofactors that work with enzymes. Without vitamins and certain minerals, important enzymes in the body can't work.

When you're deficient in vitamin C your body will allocate the vitamin C you have to the essential enzymes, but not all of them. A complete lack of vitamin C is fatal.

Lesser-known symptoms of vitamin C deficiency:
• Hypochondria
• Depression
• Perifollicular hyperkeratosis
• Anemia
• Dry hair
• Inflamed veins
• Shortness of breath
• Problems with adrenaline

The best sources of vitamin C are fruits and vegetables. Juice, like apple juice, is not a good source of vitamin C. Juice has too much sugar and is pasteurized, which destroys natural vitamin C.

Foods rich in vitamin C:
• Berries
• Peppers
• Sauerkraut
• Leafy greens

My mother always eats tons of oranges and apples, and yet had bleeding gums. The dentist told her to take vitamin C supplements and the bleeding gums were gone...if she stops taking it, they start bleeding again. It seems allmost like fruits lost their nutritional value..

After more than 20 years smoking, I finally decided to quit. A few days ago, I got sick. Thought I had c-vid, turns out it was just the flu but felt like someone had jumped me the day before lol I was unable to sleep and really started to watch your videos. I was beyond motivated. I’ve been loosing weight, from being almost 300 lbs, now I’m 229 lbs and your videos just gave me what I needed to realize how important is to establish better habits, one of those is stop smoking. I’ve been sharing all this info with my love ones. Thank you for such great content.

Come on thank you Dr Berg for all that you do with your videos. One year and 6 months ago I began with apple cider vinegar and lemon every morning and then Keto diet with intermittent fasting about once a week 24 hours, then 48 hours and 72 hours occasionally. This I did for 6 months and I lost almost 70 lb. One year later no regain of weight and fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue seems to have disappeared. Also stopped losing hair, I am a female. I've also been doing cruciferous vegetables and generally following your videos. I Hashimoto's is also gone. You are the most amazing individual and deserve so much credit for inspiring natural remedies for the best health. If only Colleges and Schools taught what you have discovered. God bless you for everything.

I'm pretty sure I've had a minor Vitamin C deficiency for years. Though I would regularly consume at least a lemon per day, they were usually small ones and their vitamin C content is pretty average. This year I started eating golden kiwi regularly for my Vitamin C, and I honestly have to say they are amazing. Besides the fact that they're tasty and have a ton of Vitamin C, I think they are better for digestive health than anything I've ever tried before. I highly recommend them to anyone not on keto.

I can totally attest to this... Moreover, I was taking up to 6000 MG OF "VITAMIN C" in the form of ascorbic acid and I had loose teeth, gum problems, fatigue and a BUNCH of other issues. After I saw the video he links at the end of this video, I changed over to food based vitamin C with about 500 -1000 mg of ascorbic to help supplement. In about a month my bleeding gums, loose teeth, fatigue and all the other issues went away. Vitamin C is much more complex than just "ascorbic acid". So THANKS DR BERG for saving my teeth and my health! 👏

Great Video Eric.
I've tried to tell my brother over and over again how so-called "100%" apple juice is full of sugar, because our elderly Mum has age related diabetes, and that her eating fruit is much better.
Now I'm able to share your video with him, I just sent him a text with a link to this video.
And I thank you too as I have some of the symptoms of being Vitamin C deficient, much appreciated.

Nettle tea is high in Vitamin C, among other great properties. I drink it for hair growth (and to block hair loss) as well.
