I went to a new doctor and they actually ran a full CBC. Low and behold. I have almost no B12 in my system. I have all of the these symptoms for the past couple of years. Now I know. Thank you for this. It explains a lot.

My b12 was dangerously low when I was diagnosed. The symptoms I had was unexplained fatigue and pain in legs, had difficulty in climbing stairs. Was feeling depressed for no reason.

I’ve been anemic for years…..decades. Felt like crap. Depressed. I’ve begun to get short and snappy with family. I want to just go live in a cabin in the woods.
I’ve suffered what I thought was tension headaches. Ringing in my ears, high blood pressure, fatigue so bad I can’t move….my leg went numb 5mo ago.
Every….single….doctor has told me it’s early menopause, pain is coming from a back injury from 2003…..so. Many things. I haven’t slept well in 20yr. I have a thyroid goiter that’s small but enough that I feel it every day and feel like I’m choking. My vision feels like I’ve gone blind as a bat over the last 5yr.
I saw a hematologist and they did synthetic iron infusions and then sent sent me to a gastroenterologist but I have a child who was diagnosed with leukemia at age 3. She relapsed age 7. I had no time to deal with my own issues so I shuffled through it. In the last 5 mo I’ve had a tooth removed (a cyst in my mandible I thought was causing the ringing in my ears and vision issue…apical granuloma)
I went to the eye doctor. I saw 3 sports medicine doctors for my leg/sciatica pain, 2 chiropractors. I had an epidural that failed and then. A nerve block that at least worked enough to allow me to bear weight on my leg. I finally went to the gastro doc and had a pipda scan of my gall bladder, an EGD. Colonoscopy, abdominal scan, stomach lining biopsy (all in one day. Yesterday). I have appointments with endocrinology, rheumatology, cardiology……all of the ology’s. When I woke up from all of those tests he told me the same thing everyone else had. Perfectly normal. He gave me a B-12 shot and told me to get a series of 7 and then one a month for life.
It’s 4am…..I woke up wide awake and feel like I could go run a marathon. I’m sitting here in shock. Something so simple yet I had to go through all this to get it?
I may sound crazy but I can already hear better, see better……I walked to the kitchen and my muscles weren’t aching like I’d worked out the day before.
I’m angry! So many doctors over the years and not once did they think to check my b-12 if I literally check all the boxes. They didn’t check it til they put me thru all these tests for blood loss internally that’s causing the anemia….even when I told them I can recall being anemic as a kid.
I have 4 daughters who have also gotten blood work showing small red blood cells and they blow it off at the doctor. Not much concern. My youngest was diagnosed with blood cancer!
What if we have some auto immune disorder. I’m having all of them get their b-12 checked. My mind is simply blown. I’m elated but so sad that I’ve wasted w0 plus years feeling awful and thinking I had some type of cancer myself or something really wrong with me but no one listened. I let them do all these invasive tests and finally get the simple answer.
Thousands in copays. I’m just shook.

The MTHFR Status of a person can be important to know when discussing B12 or any of the B vitamins. A person with an MTHFR Deficiency gene mutation may be more prone to high homocysteine levels. Some may use methyl folate and none of them can metabolise folic acid and some may need methylcobalamine or hydroxycobalamine. ..or more methyl foods. This assists the methylation cycle and detoxification and hopefully could help people with a long list of possible conditions and it may help to prevent some health problems as well, Thanks the video is very helpful and clear. I loved it.

My symptoms:
1. Twiching in most part of the body
2. Numbness in hands and legs sometimes by their own or when i sit on my leg or raise my hand doing something.
3. Involuntary muscle contraction in hand or feet of the leg sometime.
4. Shaking hands and legs while lifting things which was not present before.
5. Shortness of breath after doing little physical work.
6. Pain/fatigue (I don't know what it is) in chest region after running or dancing or doing any vigorous work for sometime.
7. Shaking fingers when separating them from position this ✋ to this 🖐 and keeping them on that position.
8. Shaking hands while doing something
9. Difficulty hearing and understanding conversation sometime even when they talk so close to me. I did PTA test and it came normal.

Is these symptoms due to vitamin B12? I'm 20 and suffering from these symptoms since 2 years. Please tell what could be the reason if anyone knows
