I found the sum of the coefficients and got 0 so x=1 is a root. Using synthetic division, my reduced 3rd degree equation was also easily solved for the next root which is also 1. Using synthetic division, I get x^2 + 3x + 1 =0 which I solved using the quadratic formula.

Hi, solu with double factoring, primus, -> (x-1)(x^3+2x^2-2x-1)=0, x-1=0, >>> x=1 <<<,
secundus, x^3+2x^2-2x-1=0, x^2(x-1)+3x(x-1)+x-1=0 -> (x-1)(x^2+3x+1)=0, x-1=0, >>> x=1 <<<,
x^2+3x+1=0, x=(-3|+/-|-sqrt(9-4)/2, >>> x=(-3+sqrt(5)/2, x=(-3-sqrt(5)/2 <<<,

@2:00 there is a writing mistake. It's just "+2"

You shall Factor them to find the solutions rather than using the formula
