The escaped slaves origin would have been really cool, shame they dropped it

Ah yes, Reapers. The immortal race of sentient starships allegedly waiting in dark space. We have dismissed that claim.

I already see me going into a game with a random empire and ending up with lithoids on a ringworld.

"Does NOT have Agrarian Idyll Civic" appears so many times, why not just make it an origin at this point?

What do you think about real civilwars in stellaris. Not a planetary rebbelion but a CIS republic kind of thing, you could use districts it would form a new nation or something idk, I would really like such a thing, we got the machine uprising but it's just not enough

Entirely agree with origins and unique techs should be a thing. I THINK there should be unique tech that you can only get if you have the origins, or by maybe specially trying to study the damaged tech from the other empire but the second way should be super difficult, but possible. Maybe some kind of tech encryption too on the empire that has the tech that's repeatable to have like, a science/salvage arms race to help prevent the enemies from gaining your weird unique tech.

For the doomsday one they should make the option for a super colony ship u have to build that moves all pops onto it and then settle on a new planet

Corrections: - Life seeded was what they considered a weak start in the strong and weak origins.
- Shattered Ring do not gain anything special to cover the districts that dont exist on their world requiring rapid expansion.

What I am more curious about is whether or not they would consider a "Fallen Empire" start (I know I said this before) where they used to be a great empire until they were cut down to size by other empires or the Fallen empires themselves. They would start with one random High tier Tech and if discovered by another Fallen Empire they would either comply to demands or suffer raids. Their event chain would be that they are either claiming back lost territory, rediscover lost tech, or for an end goal to have a permanent CB on all Fallen Empires called "Avenge the Past".

Think of them as The Enclave from Fallout.

Remnants origin is super cool, I wonder if it has events with the fallen empires like something envolving an ancient war against them, losing and being exiled into one planet. Like Halo lore when ancient humans were defeated, de-evolved and exiled into Earth

My biggest question is when will they fix the last game slowdown. Its killing my gameplay and crushing my resolve to play.

I honestly hoped for Oceanic origins. Making so their worlds are significantly harder to both bombard and deploy armies in. SInce y'know... you need specialized aquatic gear to reach their cities.
But on the other hand, their ships are more expensive to build or have less hull points, since they're filled with water to help them survive.

I really hoped to be able to use Shattered Ring with agrarian Idyll, or some of the other previously unusable civics (now Origins).

Oh well,
back to using livestock I guess ☺

I’d like to see an origin similar to the Gaia world start but instead of a Gaia world you start on a normal world, your species has super reduced habitability but you start with terraforming tech and a significant price reduction for terraforming.

it would be nice to have an origin that makes you start as a fallen empire

Eh? Agrarian Idyll isn't incompatible with Life-Seeded. Never has been. Syncretic Evolution, Mechanist, Post-Apocalyptic, and Life-Seeded all appear to have the same requirements as normal in those screenshots, actually. Also, pretty sure the diary called Shattered Ring the strongest start but Life-Seeded the weakest start. (Edit: also, feel like I should mention that Post-Apocalyptic no longer gives Tomb habitability. They changed that a while back, and now it only gives +70% to tomb worlds specifically but not to anything else.)

Odd Note: Slaver Guilds, Syncretic Evolution, and Agrarian Idyll are all incompatible with each other, but Mechanist is fully compatible with either Agrarian Idyll or Slaver Guilds (can't use both). The robots even produce amenities when working as farmers under Idyll.
