Ugh the first guy makes me so angry. Not letting his wife voice her feelings and hiding it behind saying she's "fragile" because he doesn't want to hear that she wants him to get rid of stuff. Infuriating.

Tim saying his wife is “fragile” made me so mad. Like she’s a person not a possession. She can think for herself and is entitled to her own opinion. He just didn’t wanna hear it because it clashed with his own.

Look at the huge difference between the first guy (Tim) and the second guy (Dennis) Tim is selfish and will never change Dennis is ready to let everything go for the sake of the health of his wife. Dennis is a good man.

Tim is so manipulative, it's awful. He was almost gleeful when he said he could get away with hoarding because his wife got sick, and look at how he doesn't let her speak, and claims everyone else is being manipulative. Worrying to think this guy was a psych, he obviously has a power problem

The second guy is actually very heartwarming. I'm touched by his bravery: he just... Let it all go for the well-being of his wife. Just... Suppressed the whole disorder to prioritize her. Behind his calm demeanor, he must have been fighting his urges tooth and nails during the whole 3 days. Wow.

Whenever I’m procrastinating about doing the housework I watch an episode of hoarders. NOTHING I know motivates me more. Pure gold 🤣

Dennis was the easiest hoarder I ever seen them work with. No fits no anger. He was amazing.

I'm 72 and had lived in a tiny home (400sqft) for the past 22 yrs. To get ready to move into a bigger house, I binged watched hoarders to give myself inspiration to 'let it go'. It was amazingly cathartic and freeing. Even though I am not a hoarder, per se, I was surprised at how much stuff I actually had. However, after watching dozens of episodes of this very educational program, and with the help of my sons, I had very little to move at the end of the day. Thank you, Hoarders, for teaching me the importance of having space for family and friends.

"It's brand new" - "but it's rusty and broken" - "what's your point?" 😂😂😂👌

Saddest thing I’ve ever seen- Lisa tells her Dad ( Ron) she’s walking out of his life and he makes her feel worthless. Minutes later he’s giddy over finding a cup in the kitchen.
That says it ALL.

Was difficult to hear the old man shut down the therapist claiming that she was ignoring his wife’s “fragility” while he had taken advantage of it the moment she got sick 15 years prior to hoard the inside of their home.

Vivian's daughter was the best kid I've seen. Her way of taking charge in a loving way, not being spiteful of a childhood loss. Love it!

I'm so incredibly proud of Dennis. He's such a great example of how letting go can bring so much light and value to your life. And a reminder of what is truly important

Nothing worse than a smug dr who thinks he knows everything. He's a master manipulator. He doesn't care about his wife or her voice.

Why can't more episodes be like the second one with Dennis? He absolutely knew he needed to change more for his wife than himself. Seems like a very good man

I can’t imagine getting very sick and my love one destroying the family home around you. I felt so bad for Tim’s wife.

The second case, with Dennis I believe.. brought tears to my eyes. His wife gave the smallest but best smile at the end. I hope they are doing ok. I hope all these people are ok, someway or another. ♡

The grand daughter in the third story was so sweet. “I just wish I could go over to her house, cook her dinner, put on some music.” Lol

Tim was so unlikeable. His poor wife 🤦‍♀️

29:42 “For whatever I’ve lost, look what I’ve gained”

I wish that everyone could get to this point. He was definitely ready for a change.
