B&M Part # 70394 - Fits 2009 to 2018 Ford F-150 and similar models with a 6R80 automatic transmission. Will Not Fit Mustang.

Our Hi-Tek deep transmission pans are constructed from A356-T6 aluminum and are cast with thick internal and external fins, adding additional strength and increased cooling properties. The deep pan design increases fluid capacity by 3.25 quarts over the stock O.E. pan. All these features combined help dissipate heat quicker netting lower transmission and fluid temperatures prolonging the life of your transmission, transmission fluid, and corresponding components. Other features for this popular pan include a drain port with magnetic drain plug for clean and easy servicing. Also includes 1/8 inch NPT temperature sensor port for easily adding a temp gauge for monitoring transmission temperatures while daily driving, towing or racing. Includes detailed instructions with all necessary hardware for an easy at home installation. Note: 6R80 transmissions do not come with a dip stick from the factory to check fluid level. As a solution, B&M offers an optional 6R80 locking dipstick part #22200 to measure transmission fluid level.

What kind of filter did you use? After market? What about adding a pickup tube to the new filter?

I wonder how much cooler the trans will run with this pan? Will it make any difference in temp?

Since I won't need my OEM pan anymore, I'll drill a hole in it to drain it.

Why would the stock magnet be relocated on your pan all the way in the back up high on the lip of the pan? How is the magnet going to be useful in that location, knowing that your drain plug magnet is smaller and Im assuming not as strong as the oem magnet for picking up magnetic particals in the pan?

What happened to the fluid filter? Did you replace it? Does the stock filter work with this pan? Is there a need for a modified fluid pickup on the filter or does this pan require a different filter?

Waiting for the trans pan for the 10 speed on the 2018 F-150 5.0..….think it's between you and Mag Hytec, who makes the better product
