Found Quill videos last year and helped me with Civ 6, EU4 and Hearts of iron 4. I owned Civ5 years ago but only played it a bit (badly) now have the complete game for a fiver and this great tutorial from Quill. Thanks

Cool that you do things like this for new players.  You can pick up a lot by watching game-play but some people need extra instructions and examples. 

I know the game already but I thank you for those who don't.

I'm playing my first ever game of Civ V right now. I played my first ever game on "Prince" difficulty. on marathon settings. I really wish I'd watched this first... I've been playing this map for 3 days with no sign of end. lol loving this game though... can't believe I slept on it for so long. thanks for this incredible Tips video... just wanted to let ya know, 8 years later you're still improving lives from this one video tutorial series. :)

Got to say this is a really good video for beginners. I think it's too easy for some people to make assumptions that people know things because it seems so simple to them. I can also say even as an (in my opinion) experienced player, I've learnt one or two things little details I wasn't aware of from playing the game.

Got Civ 5 from a friends suggetion without ever having played any civ games...i'll just say I was majorly confused even with the tutorial help...these videos helped me really be able to play and enjoy this game as it was meant to be enjoyed...thanks Quill18 you gained a like and a sub for these :):)

Was looking for a Civ 5 tutorial after picking it up on steam for cheaps! Then I see that the guy who got me through my first Mun landing and orbital liaison has got me covered!!
