Made a few mistakes here and there but this is a short introduction to Civ5 BNW for newer players. If there's interest, I'll make more of these.

My opinion on this:
Move the warrior before moving the settler in the first turn, because there is a high possibility that the tile game placed your settler originally on is the best possibility. Moving the settler first is risking moving away from a better tile.
getting a scout in the first turn is not obligatory though, especially if you play on a large or huge map, because there is no way another civ is going to beat you to the nearest city-states, but they might beat you in growth by taking a worker and improving tiles. Its subjective of course :D
Also, I think making a shrine early on is pretty important, because there is a limited number of religions that can be founded, so you better get to it, its not a big deal, if you dont make a granary on the first turn. Also, I usually go with tradition policy as it improves your culture and its faster getting new social policy.
When building World Wonders, check for Great Person points, they are a huge boost to your game. Also, check that there are different types of Great Persons, so you should build the respective wonders in the same city to get the birth of a great person earlier/faster.
Dont rush for the Great Library early on. Just dont. Not worth it. You are going to be killed if played on hard, big trouble on standart, because you wont have a military.

Very good video, even as a 250 + hours player, I still picked up a couple of bits, like the option to stop a city state, giving you units, something I hadn't noticed before. Of course the tradition policy tree, has now also changed, so not so easy. It's not easy doing a beginners video, because you know the game yourself, but thankfully it's not a difficult game to pick up, but difficult to master on levels above King.

I play on Deity or Immortal, but I think this video was on Emperor since I didn't want to cater the discussion just to high end play. (And I think the multiplayer pitboss game we're doing now is on Emperor)
