Let's use Grafana to track application metrics!

Jerod Santo is joined by Gerhard Lazu, Alex Koutmos, and Lars Wikman to hack together some application-level metrics tracking using Grafana.

We implement it two ways:

First, we use Erlang's telemetry features and the PromEx plugin to send the data over explicitly in the app code.

Next, we adapt Nginx's logs to get the data without any application code changes.
