I lost 50 pounds over the last 3 years (THE STRUGGLE IS REAL). Food swaps are definitely key. You don't feel as deprived! Drinking water with meals vs. drinking your calories has been so helpful for me. Swapping from a Starbucks Frappuccino (500+ calories) to Iced Coffee or Nitro Brews with coconut or almond milk (50-60 calories) when I get a "treat" out is another one I enjoy. Not getting the fries.. if I choose a regular spicy chicken sandwich or choosing a grilled chicken sandwich with only a small fry when I go to Chick-Fil-A/Wendy's/BK is another trick I use if my family wants to eat out. Always have water ONLY with meals unless I am having coffee or hot tea with controlled or no sugar.

The Olé wraps wwre recommended to me by a dietitian, harder to find these days. I love the spinach ones especially!

I mix the PB powder with water and stuff 2 medjool dates with it. Really cures a sweet tooth! 2 stuffed dates and 2 tbsp of pb powder mixed with water is like 4 or 5 points. Jif PB alone is 7 points for 2 tbsp.

Iced tea instead of more sugary cold drinks. And I don't mean the stuff you buy, I mean pour some water in a pitcher, put some tea in it (bags work, leaves work better) and leave it overnight. I personally prefer fruity green teas for this. I drink water with my food, but sometimes I just crave a cold, flavoured drink.

Turkey is really good in chili beans too. I have chili beans almost every day because they fill me up and help me go to the bathroom and they’re low calorie and the turkey and then works great because you can’t tell

I agree with the banza shells I make peas and shells with red sauce delicious! I also do like Trader Joe’s yellow lentil spaghetti organic one is very good if cooked correctly!
