I know this is hopelessly insufferable, but once yoga and meditation make sense, they are so good. Never saw the point until I had a bit of a crisis. Both were invaluable in helping me past said crisis, and helped me grow past where I was before the crisis even started, a process which continues to this day. Nowadays I'm grateful for having been through the whole thing for where I am now. That said, if you don't need them, don't bother!

Thanks for keeping your videos SIMPLE! Easy to understand but dont mind watching an 2nd and 3rd time to make notes1
Your ideas and simple mindsets on these actually work better.

I love how realistic you are with a lot of this stuff compared to a lot of other folks in the space. It definitely makes things feel more attainable. Liking the video anyway!

Yeah, I agree with the no screens on bed. Before my wife I always had a TV in the bedroom. Initially I thought I'd really wanted a TV there but after getting used to not having a screen in the bedroom I noticed it improved my sleep.

Making the bed is lowest on my todo list. Other than it being an easy win, it serves no purpose for me. Studies have even shown that you should let your bed air out for as long as possible (especially if you sweat a lot at night, or you dont shower before bed). Reading, however, is an S tier for me. Anxiety management in the form of a nice distraction! Decluttering is A-tie, as clutter makes me nuts. Screen time shut down an hour or more before bed is also a vital A-tier.

I'm glad someone agrees with the waking up thing not being all that useful. Definitely not for everyone.
I used to try waking up at 5am when it comes to college, but this came with two problems: the first is that I had to go to bed immediately after dinner, and the second is that it created too much time in the morning for my liking. Not only did I have enough time to do what I needed to before college, but I had enough time to stress about the day too.
6 was the sweet spot --- and remains as such, as hard as it is to achieve in the winter.

Don't make your bed in the morning. Leave it fully open. It needs to air out.

I was surprised about the low rating of meditation... but considering the amount of consistent piano practice you do, I'm sure you're getting many of the positive effects.

I never understood cold showers, simply because, isn't heat supposed to kill bacteria? Cold showers ruin the point of even having a shower in the first place.

Hey Joel, I have been watching your videos since a long time now

I think getting your videos edited can help you gain more views and engagement 😊

I would love to discuss more in detail ❤

Piano = meditation. It’s the state of hypnosis.

Sorry but I think you should show the "tier" list a lil bit more than half a sec. My experience watching the video was little bad because of this and you didn't even show the list in the end of the video...
