I'm literally crying right now, this is my pain everyday.

YES, it certainly is about time that GP's did recognise this very painful, disease. Many years our daughter went to her GP, and actually didn't get anywhere.( one GP told her it was 'fidgety leg syndrome) We made the decision of going private, and a Professor in this field diagnosed it being Lipedema, as parents and our daughter would like to have the liposuction treatment, and it is NOT for cosmetic reasons. Again the money factor. After the diagnosis the GP was told, and they do not want to know, they just dismiss it, only because you have gone elsewhere to find out. We just hope one day our dear daughter will be able to have relief.
