It makes sense. Your stretching your fascia which can create more room for your muscles to create volume. For those who are wondering. Lets look at the muscle and fascia relationship like the sausage and sausage casing. Tje sausage is the muscle, fascia isnthe casing. Stretching the casing will allow for more muscle.

Would recommend dynamic stretching during sets unlike static stretching which may fatigue you before your sets are done.

Yeah it works, I have been doing it for a good while. You get more blood flow and a better pump because the fascia get more stretched when you stretch when you already have a good pump going. Meaning your muscles can fill up with even more blood and you can get an even better pump.
I am sure you have feeled pumps so hard you feel restricted moments from it. So when you stretch between sets you get less of this effect so you muscles can fill up even more with blood when you work out. And it will not impede your movements as much.
