Star Wars Episode III - Revenge of the Sith - Battle of Utapau - 4K ULTRA HD.

The Battle of Utapau, also known as the invasion of Utapau or the liberation of Utapau, acted as one of the last decisive large-scale battles of the Confederacy of Independent Systems against the Galactic Republic in the Clone Wars, and was fought between the Separatist Droid Army and Grand Army of the Republic. After intelligence reports suggested General Grievous had fled to Utapau following the Battle of Coruscant, Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi and the 212th Attack Battalion were dispatched to deal with Grievous. After landing on Utapau alone ahead of the main clone force, Kenobi was directed by Tion Medon to the tenth level, where Grievous and other Separatist leaders were hiding. Kenobi, after waiting for the Separatist Councilors to leave, had the Republic forces move in and engaged Grievous in a fierce and lengthy duel, eventually shooting him to death. Not long after the general's death, Order 66 was issued to the clone troopers and Kenobi was forced to escape Utapau aboard Grievous' own starfighter.

I swear Filoni making Kenobi, Cody, and the 7th Sky Corps in the same units improves ROTS as it shows that he and the 212th had history with each other. It also makes Order 66 hurts more for Kenobi's part. Lol

The amount of details in every scene is mind-blowing. It's something the sequels failed so miserably. And while the fist fighting clone is cool, my personal favourite is this clone: 3:43 - casually knocing on the falling battle droids head.

Is nobody gonna mention how quietly and discreetly the 212th enter in before waging all out war on the platforms? Even in WW2 when the paratroopers dropped, there was AA fire before they even got the green light to jump. How does a whole armada armed with one of the most widely recognized battalions in bright orange and white armor just sneak up all cat like before blasting away?

I love the subtle use of the binary suns motif at the beginning of this clip. The more ominous revamp makes it feel like it’s signalling that Obi-Wan is approaching the inevitable turning point of galactic history, and there’s nothing more he can do to avoid it.
