Good video, big feller! 😉

1) Postural stability (mirror, no shirt)
2) Alignment (mirror)
3) Timing (metronome, blank boss, target face)
4) Release and follow-through (double bow-roll drill, elbow pencil, etc)

So structured as usual, thank you so much for this study 👍👌
Yes watching Olympic archers and their subtil posture differences is teaching about the canonical posture to reach and master.
It could be interesting to analyse these archers and highlight their style and the corresponding effectiveness.
For instance (I'm far from being a specialist) my attention was retained by Mete Gazoz at the Olympics. I see here a special style, very elegant and particularly motionless in the posture. A very special left shoulder. We see also the evolution of its stand along years on archeryworld channel and I feel a very fine tuning work here I don't remember having noticed yet... but you may have a different read of this?

I am about to begin my path on archery, so these are very informative videos. Of course it will be long until I am of some level, but practice makes it perfect!

Couldn't agree more with the postural stability. I struggle with it and I thought it wasn't much of a big deal until i took it seriously and it does reduce variables with the upper body. I love how in depth it is on the OAA course, highly recommend it. 👌👌

Good information, thanks: Question, The top of the bowarm forearm (Olympic shooters) appears to be rising on release, is this because they are straightening their arm when pushing forward??

Thanks for this. Struck while the irons hot and did the metronome drill this arvo. Shot a 564 70/720 round using the metronome. Previous best was 534. Instant result!

Thank you for the insightful video and tips in the end. I do move when I release. So it was helpful. Can you please let me know why my bow hits my thigh instead of swinging ?

Great content as always. Many has anyone found a source of footage of any of the Tokyo matches whatsoever, other than the 2 individual finals the bbc has, WITHOUT subscribing to discovery+?
