Great Soil doesn't increase gardening skill, it increases the rate plants grow. Study Spot will increase all skill gains by 25%.

I also love using the simple living challenge trait from cottage living. Gives some realism in that you must gather ingredients to cook instead of just paying and the ingredients magically appearing.

Warning about private dwelling - it literally stops EVERYONE from coming, including food delivery people. So you will order and pay for grocery delivery/zoomers/whatever but never receive it. Be warned!

Study Spot is my favorite because it makes all skills go faster. Even toddler skills.

Gnomes is a good one as they help repair any stuff that's degrading. Just try n be asleep by 3-4am as they're shy and won't come out to help if anyone is awake 👍

My first time using on key line I was hoping for twins coz I had decorated the whole house for twins and I had triplets! I had to add rooms and redesign the whole house for that one extra toddler!

I’m doing the plant sim scenario. We in a micro home, great soil, and the homey trait. If she doesn’t leave home, and meets townies by the beach, the plant sim trait is doubled to 10 days ^_^ feeling good about my choices lol

For me, it's Great Soil, Eco Lot, Study Spot, Bracing Breezes, Homey, Fast Internet. Depending on story-telling purposes, I might use Good School.

Even without mods, I’ve realized you can stack traits beyond the listed three - I believe 5 or 6 is the max
