Permanent Retainers vs. Removable Retainers

Retainers play a vital role in tying the orthodontic process all together at the end. If you are someone who is nearing the end of your braces or invisalign treatment, you should start looking into what type of retainers you would like to get.

There are two types of retainers that you can choose from: Permanent Retainers and Removable Retainers. Be sure to do your own research and consult with your orthodontist.

Wow! Very nice and informative video! It helped me better understand why my Orthodontist said I would be getting a permanent retainer. The sound of it felt nerve wracking but after seeing the pros and cons of both the permanent and the removable, I think I’m much more comfortable about it than before. Thanks! 😁

Mam i have little bit gap in between front teeth...is this retainers can fill it properly? My doctor suggested me to do that otherwise I have to remove my 4 teeth in back side for fixed braces...what you suggest?
