“Bentist said no to these”, Bentist isn’t god. Every case is different, these retainers are fine and studies suggest the better approach to prevent teeth moving. You can still floss with them and as long as you get your teeth cleaned every 6 months like you should, it’s no issue at all.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with a fixed retainer as long as you brush and super floss even with it on. People are just simply lazy and removable retainers are quite often forgotten to be worn.

I clean somebody’s teeth and they had a blue bonding for the lower bonded retainer. It was easier to clean because I could see the difference between the bonding and the tooth. So if you’re going to get a bonded retainer, ask for a different color of bond. 😉
