Want to Feel Like You're Living a Longer, Fuller Life?

Does it feel like time is flying by faster as you get older? In this solo podcast episode, I’m revealing a powerful secret to slow time down and experience a FULLER RICHER LIFE by creating new, dense memories.

Here’s the thing—we often fall into routines that make life feel repetitive, and as a result, time seems to pass by quicker. But neuroscience shows us that when we engage in new activities and experiences, we create more vivid memories, which can actually slow down our perception of time.

Here’s what you’ll take away from this episode:

- The neuroscience behind why creating new memories helps to slow down your perception of time.

- Practical tips on how to break out of your routine, like brushing your teeth with the opposite hand or taking a different route to work.

- The challenge to pick two new experiences over the next year that will enrich your life and create lasting memories.

- How anticipation of upcoming events can make your days feel longer and more meaningful.

- The importance of living with intention to create a life that feels fuller and more impactful.

In this episode, I’m challenging you to stop letting time slip away and start living more DELIBERATELY. Whether it’s learning a new hobby, taking a new approach to your daily habits, or exploring a different aspect of your life, it’s all about engaging with the world around you in fresh, exciting ways.

Tune in to learn how small shifts in your daily routine can create big changes in how you experience time and life. Let’s make every moment count and MAXOUT your time, together!

Father Abraham was called to leave the familiar in order to build a nation. New experiences reveal who we are and uncover our potential.

Thank you for sharing, I enjoy learning and validating the wisdom of the Word.

Theres so much to be enjoyed its hard to imagine regretting a new experience that youve been wanting to have. Youll be sitting in your rocking chair watching the sun rise over a cup of coffee at 115 years old thinking back and smiling.

Ed, WOW!!! Every podcast that you do, seems to be "The ONE", BUT I must say, the timing for this particular "ONE" has been the perfect time for me. I LOVE it, because this IS the right time for my life. I actually have done something different, in the past 12 months, BUT the one recent thing is what I promised myself I would start. Yoga!! Simple, and it;s online, one hour, once a week, and free. It feels amazing to know I am on the same page as you. I DO have a "bucket list" that includes golf; I will make a conscious effort now to try some new things, and I appreciate YOU for sharing your experiences by taking the focus off you and onto HOW to help and serve others! God bless you, and Christiana for your desire to give of your time!

My life revolves around pushing myself to do new things baby) so I loved hearing that's how you create these 'dense memories.' This is the first time I've heard this term, always cool to learn new concepts. Thanks for sharing, Ed!

Darlene Of Barry and Darlene, this is how I see this, new dense, liken to the Grand Canyon, my daily? no. Looking at this anew mine, Im on the raft I only go 15 feet, I look back to my left, I see every nook ravine large Bolders white waters and I feel it all! now this is set to memory like, A photographic memory` all new perfect fresh and alive I SET TO MEMORY it is vast and deep, dense. I do not like my daily life changed However I love new experiences and is how neuro memory is set in to memories of grandeur and we live on with new and it makes every new memory new to and with it our brain will set it in motion now to implement a path to the new as new intersection to growth feelings and comparing everything in its paths. wonderful Ed, I've been traveling in this idea pool as well, so great of you to share all that you learn a new to us all, I do learn with you. again thank you. Darlene

Ed, your discussion all makes sense. When something, or place is "new" you are "Paying Attention"! Once places, or roads, or people etc are familiar you are on "auto pilot"-- which flies by. I totally believe in doing new activities, going new places, meeting new people, learning new things, don't let life go stale! Love watching you. ❤ love from PA

Thank you for this video. I needed to hear this. Need to try new things. It’s funny because when you do the same things you get excited about the event but when it happens you don’t have the same excitement at the end of the day it’s about changing things up to make it different.

Lord hear my prayers. As a single mother. I’m still struggling financially trying to provide the basics for my two sons. Both are are special needs. And now that school is starting I’m overwhelmed. Every month is a struggle not to end up on the streets. Father give me strength, because I’m so tired of struggling. I want to give up but my faith won’t allow it!. 💕

This is great info, Ed! Thanks for covering it. I've been seeking new experiences because I intuitively know they're beneficial, but this provides a lot of clarity with science to back it up.
