One cannot get scrum master job without Certification and without experience no use of Certification as well. It's a conundrum not only for SM but for any role. Try to get internal job(almost equally tough like external job search) for your desired role after Certification. Even if there's no hike or appreciation stick for min 2 years then try switching.

CSM is very common nowadays, many software engineer doiny CSM certificate but they are not SM and they also not trying to land in SM profile.
