iPhones: 'This Folder is Empty' on Windows Computer/Laptop? FIXED!

I show you how fix an iPhone that is connected to a Windows Computer, laptop or PC yet when you open windows explorer and tab apple iPhone its says, "This Folder is Empty". Hope this helps.

This goes for iPhone 4, iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, SE, iPhone 6, 6s, 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 8, 8 Plus, iPhone X, XR, XS, XS Max, iPhone 11, 11 Pro, 11 Pro Max, iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, 12 Mini, etc.

i do not understand why the need to be so complicated to just transfer photos? may be I will switch back to android just for that reason

Worked for me. Thanks. If it the folder doesn't pop up after 1 minute you can also refresh, that worked for me.

i had transferred all my iphone pics in my laptop successfully. now after two years my laptop has updated and all i phone pics are gone. the folder is empty. how to fix this? please help. i had deleted all pics from my i phone and i cloud to free up space.

Hi all! My phone doesn’t have “reset location and privacy” the two options are scary looking. I have… mhhh 21, 000 photos I want to transfer right off my phone onto a 2 TB harddrive. I don’t want to wait… like a day and have nothing happen. Is the reset option necessary cause all it says is “folder is empty” and nothings thinking, there’s nobody home, lights are out. I need some help if anyone has any suggestions for me on my crazy transfer adventure…
