One benefit I've noticed from drinking coffee is enjoying the taste of delicious coffee.

I love how Layne lays it out simply, so that we get the bottom line, but we also get educated as well. That's why Layne is the Best!

I don’t drink coffee to wake up, I wake up to drink coffee ☕️

Watching this with a coffee! ☕

As someone who doesn't drink alcohol, smoke or use any illicit drugs I'm more than happy letting myself drink coffee if I want to.

I drink 4 coffees and sometimes energy drinks daily. Limitation, If I don’t train hard + sauna everyday I can stay up all night which is great if u plan to destroy urself on Fridays. If I do train I can fall asleep easily at 20:00. Stopped coffee for two months after watching people online saying u will improve skin, make better decisions and did not saw any if that just slight constipation. I do not see a reason not having coffee at all and I like some controlled stress in my life. If u decide to quit get a green tea for 2-3 days and cut out caffeine completely. If u get constipated without ☕️, drink 1 to 1, 5 litres of water upon waking up to get that 💩 going and alleviate any headaches from lower BP …

Love coffee, especially when in calorie deficit, helps a lot with suppressing appetite.

1:39 In Germany Kaffeetrinken (literally meaning drinking coffee) is a meal between lunch and dinner and is more about eating cake than drinking coffee. Obviously I never thought about that as a kid, but once I learnt a bit more about how coffee works, I came to the conclusion, that it's actually one of the worst usages of caffeine. Not only is it rather late and may impair sleep, the increase in cortisol combined with sweets will probably lead to higher visceral fat.
This is different from normal consumption of coffee without food, where the hunger blunting effect may even lead to less fat.

1:20 this is incredibly important to point out and something not a lot of people actually consider.
pretty much all of the bullshitters on social media are speaking outside of their scope of practice

I’m 57 male and drink two pots a day with heavy cream. I’m not even close to fat. I am muscular 😊

The transitive property of equality tells us that if

a=b, b=c, then it follows that a=c. but I get your point :)

Thank you for your legit information and showing that not everything that everyone says is true

Really tired of people crapping on coffee. It's actually a healthy beverage, drunk in moderation. If you can't handle it well, don't drink it. That simple. For most people on the planet, it's their favorite, delicious, anti-oxidant beverage.

I quit coffee and pretty much only have caffeine every once in a while in pop. I’m glad I did it. I can sleep much better now.

I've never really liked coffee so my caffeine intake is fairly low. I recently started taking caffeine pills as pre-workout and wow! Caffeine is definitely a blessing and I feel more energetic while the effect lasts (not only while working out), I also hasn't really noticed side effects aside from nausea if I take too much at once.
If you haven't used caffeine as pre-workout before, I highly recommend it.

Apart from insomnia, avoidable by not taking coffee too late, I have zero complaints about it

Glad you brought up SCOPE OF PRACTICE…that is thrown out the window in our current age. AND loved you brought up the fact that caffeine is probably one of the only true safe fat-burner substances!
A cup of strong black coffee is not ruining lives. Addiction to daily Starbucks junk-drinks and 3-6 cups of caffeine daily is the problem

I've tried caffeine a few times but it made me extremely tired so now I actively avoid it. I wake up full off energy BEFORE my alarms go off every morning so I guess my body doesn’t really need a morning coffee 🤷‍♂️
But I don't think it is that evil as long as you don't take too much of it
