I had actually never bothered to find this out because I just assumed the complexity would be way beyond what a measly engineering student would understand but that was simple enough! Thanks so much for this

Hey, but can't this formula be e^ix=cosx-sinx because √-1x√1-cos^2x= √-Sin^2x which is √Sin^2(-x).
Then e^ix=cosx+sin(-x) which should be cox-sinx.
