this video explained more than a typical sem at the uni

Makes perfect sense now. How it gets to 0 in some ways, why people use sin and cos with it as you can literally see it make those waves when looked at a different angle in 3D geometrical space.

damn I really liked this visualization

Very Very Nice Explanation Thanks a lot for the Same Sir Ji

this just shows how sine and cosine arise from moving a vector around the unit circle. It doesn't show the connection to complex exponentials. You're already assuming e^(it)=cos(t)+isin(t) in the video.

Sorry, the left side is the exp function which gives values from 1 to infinity and right side is the addition of 2 trig functions which each give values from -1 to 1. So, how can these sides be equal?

This I understand. But where is the exponential graph?

Calculus always puts me into an existential crisis.

oh my god it makes so much sense... the only part i dont understand is: why is it only with the exponential function that this is the case?

well this basicly looks like the EM theory.

If this is the way I were taught complex geometry, I would have persued higher studies in mathematics. What a brilliant visualization of Euler's formula. Seems like computer generated animation is quite important to understand complex theories.

Does it describe an alternating current with conductivity and/or inductivity?

How do you make it a 3D model until there is no 3rd variable to expand it along the 3rd axis?

I wonder what it would look like for 2^ix

Just "Euler's formula' - no "the'. Lose no sleep at all.
