Me it’s a different issu . When I plug my headset, it detects the output device but not the input . For more information I am using dell windows 11 desktop . I also have maxx audio pro and I think it could be a problem but I don’t know

I have rode nt1 5 th gen it comes with type c to type c cable
I bought it for that reason because i don't have interface
But the problem is that my pc has only 3.5 mm jack option for mics
And when i connect rode mic with type c to usb a converter
It is not shown anywhere control panel or anywhere
I don't know what to do now
Do i need to buy an interface now ?
