Where is the end of the yarn? And how You pull it out? Which way? And why is important?!?

Ok, this is a short video sharing my thought about how I pull out my yarn and I would love to hear how You do it?

This is only my personal point of view, not to say right or wrong just what I prefer.

Comment below and let me know how You do it? And why? So I can learn from You too ;)

Hi Ma ya! 👋🏻 Some balls aren't meant to be pulled from the centre, which is why you end up with a big pile of yarn barf, when you dig around for the centre. Cakes and skeins are usually centre pulls. There's actually plenty of information on the winding process and how it's wound depends on if you should pull it from the outside or inside. I normally pull balls from the outside and have it in a bag to stop it going everywhere. But cakes and skeins I pull from the centre. 😊

That’s So Funny, I Just Love Your Free Spirit Self!! I usually pull from the middle but sometimes it’s not so easy that way, and if it isn’t, I will do it from the outside! Thank You for Sharing 😊 Forgot to mention, I just love that sweater you’re wearing 😍

Hi Maya! It's so nice how autumn shows in your videos lately. It's getting a little chilly here in Romania already, too. I came to believe that when pulling out the yarn from a thicker yarn like the first one in your video, it happened to me that it tangled when not much yarn was left on the ball, but I like the idea that is not rolling around me. I think your ball, because the yarn is thinner will not tangle that much because of the shape of your ball. The second ball you show have a different shape and you can still keep the yarn as a circle when no much is left. Beautiful sweater, by the way! Warm wishes <3

Aha!  Have Yarn, Will Travel!  I'm pulling yarn from the inside since the beginning when I began crocheting.  Keeps the yarn contained.

Some brands will leave a small tail, i think it’s rude when they don’t

I use the center unless i can't find it. Some yarn turns into a complete mess trying to find that center pull. Drives me crazy 😡 lol

I don’t like if I can’t pull from the center. I will roll a center pull ball when I can’t get it to pull from inside
