Have 10 or 15 small meals? 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏 🍏

🤔 You mean every time you walk away from the table, you're walking away unsatisfied and be hungry again an hour later? 😵

Why would I ever want to be unsatisfied after I eat? Isn't the entire point of eating to satiate yourself, to satisfy your appetite?

👉 I'm absolutely convinced that we are designed to eat meals and not graze 🙂 Our natural inclination is not one of grazing.

True. And more important is that you dont trigger insulin level all day. So 2 meals per day in the window of 6 hours are max. Then you have 18 hours to rest your body on only water. This was game changer for me!

What a great explanation! Personally, I have always enjoyed both meals big enough to keep me satisfied for a couple of hours and the digestive REST in between meals.

I've never been able to feel full on 80-10-10. I ate and still A LOT of fruit, but 1. I don't want to eat that much fruit (I feel unhealthfully full, and sick afterwords), and 2. when I eat a decent sized meal of bananas let's say (say 6-8), it never fills me up, and I'm hungry again in 1 hour. Eating this way requires eating A LOT of fruit, I dare say, as compared to just eating a little bit of potatoes for instance, or some starch. I, personally, haven't had the experience of eating fruit and staying full for a long time unless I downright stuff myself. I think fruit doesn't give you that satiation factor like legumes or starch do, despite the fact that maybe we don't digest them as well... so I add them from time to time, for a top off.
Any recommendations?
I'll also say this -- when you're diabetic, if you eat TONS of fruit all day, you MUST, must, must do tons of exercise. 80-10-10 doesn't work well if you're sedentary.

Are you suggesting that 5 hours average between meals is a positive time frame for your digestive system to rest properly?

I completely agree with your view. Just one question - how do people with blood sugar issues overcome spikes when eating large fruit meals? I wish I could eat 5 bananas at once BUT my blood sugar goes up to 180 after 4 bananas and I have to stay with 2 of them leaving me hungry for sure. I have watched lots of your videos and the blood sugar issue is not addressed anywhere. Please, consider making a video about this very common hurdle, thank you
