I have questions. What should our practice now be with baptism? Do we baptize when our children believe just as a picture of their repentance? Or do do it more than once like do we have to dip in some mikvah when we are unclean? Or is showering just fine? Thanks

I'd like to know, how did the English word "baptism" come to be used? How'd "baptism" come to be viewed today as a different thing than a mikvah? What's the historical trail that brought this misunderstanding that mikvah & baptism are different things?
