This is interesting because I’ve been thinking baptism didn’t just show up with John the Baptist and must have had some history with the Jews. Furthermore, I’ve been studying in Hebrews and come to believe that it is during baptism that we enter the Inner Sanctuary with Christ, the High Priest, and have our sins forgiven.
