How to tell if you might need rotors when replacing brake pads.

I was recently reading a forum post asking about brake rotors. I thought that I might be able to show some of you that are curious about the topic what technicians look at to tell your rotors need to be replaced. This is not %100 accurate all of the time, and there are other reasons the rotors might need to be replaced, but this can show what we look at from a visual aspect to say the rotors need to be replaced.
