Lubuntu no longer has LXDE Desktop Environment--it now uses LXQT.

Could anyone help me out ? I dual booted more than 4 linux distribution and fedora on my laptop and still brightness doesn't work for some reason

Well if going with old, just some pointers be sure on version of SSH, Can't remember the version number where you're safe That available online too. And of course XZ and that patch.. Might be tricky with older Distro's. FInd out as much as you can research and hopefully solutions.
