Switched to a WFPB diet last year. Got off the couch and did half an hour of exercise 6 days a week. 2 days working upper body, 2 days working lower body, other 2 days doing something that made me sweat. The weight just fell off. Also, cut out alcohol, drive thru's and as much sugar as possible. Never felt better. I'm 63.

For me it was the same with so king, 60 cigarettes a day, I stopped again and again and started again and again "ONLY ONE"
I understood that there is no ONLY ONE.
Then I got it won. 39 years ago.
Now plant base whole food keeps me very well at 76 years old. No health problems, no drags.
Looking ahead for the 100 year

The most effective diet also happens to be the most ethical

Veganism is rising and thriving while carnism is trying and dying! WE ARE VEGAN! WE ARE STRONG! IF YOU'RE NOT VEGAN WHAT'S TAKING SO LONG!?!?!?!

I’m starting a prolonged water fast. I’m 34yo, 5’11 + 360lbs sedentary lifestyle and a heavy smoker. I’m going cold turkey on cigs as well.

2024 November 8th this is the heaviest I’ve ever been. I was comfortable and I had/have nothing to look forward towards no goal, no partner no desire to lose the weight but now I’m getting too fat even for my biggest clothes. growing up I was fat too but I hated myself I lost a lot of weight and was told by my family that I was too thin I didn’t look healthy I got depressed as I suffered from mental issues since I was a child. I gained all the weight back and then some Today I am 300+lbs I am disappointed and disgusted in myself right now I can’t believe I neglected myself like this I think the food and alcohol abuse is the avoidance of the real issue which is my mental health I know deep down inside I’m full of self loath and sadness but the food and alcohol masked it to where it became an addiction I want to see myself happy but thin not happy and jolly like I have been these past few years I need to change not just for my family but for myself and my health which is rapidly deteriorating my body isn’t made to be this heavy my knees ankles and back all feel it if I lose it and things change I’ll come back to this video and possibly make a video myself but most likely not I’ll most likely make a pros/ cons list
Right now it’s all cons 1 I can’t sleep properly I fear I have sleep apnea 2 I can’t sit without breathing hard 3 I can’t sit normally in my car anymore I’m uncomfortable 4 I don’t fit all my clothes and I don’t want to buy anymore 5 I can not play guitar comfortably as my gut is in the way 6 my appetite keeps growing by my movement speed is slowing down 7 I sweat for every little active activity I do even putting on clothes I’m embarrassed to even go out 8 I fear I have diabetes or an underlying heart disease or problems 9 I can’t look at someone attractive without thinking myself as a creep part has to do I’m disgusted In myself 10 my body Oder is more smelly I am at a state that I hate myself if you relate to me and what I have written understand you are not alone but we must change and I mean today not tomorrow not later because those health issues come faster than our procrastination can handle

A healthier, plant based, maybe even tastier (!) version of all your favorites is out there!

thanks, great informational video. I can only imagine how much better it would be without the unnecessary background "music" soooo many videos are infected with lately.

I had it, I had vegan for over a year and a half and lost it a little over a year ago. Now I'm struggling to get it back. Over a year off and on, now I'm vegetarian, hoping soon to not backslide. Vegan is the goal. Drive thru and ready to eat is my enemy. No meat at the house except the dog's hotdogs. I'm stocked on easy to fix. So maybe I got it this time. I need to get my energy back and that feeling great feeling.

Once my ex bf went vegan he went from only liking plain cheese burgers, fries, steaks, ect (hated tomatoes), to loving plants. We'd eat wraps/tacos most nights bc of how cheap beans and rice are and he started to want tomatoes and onions on them!! His taste buds changed and he became so healthy. Now a year after we called it off he's 6"2 and 280+ pounds. It makes me sad lol like meat is seriously so bad for people.

It was very ironic. I clicked on this video because I know Chuck Carroll from Physicians Committee, The Advertisement was for Jet's Pizza, with lots of cheese and meat. It was very clear that our very advertising does not support a healthy life.

This guy took months to lose nearly 300 pounds. I could lose 314 pounds in one day if I die.

I went to a restaurant with my vegan friend. I asked him what he would like to eat, he said "nothing will make me happier than a bloody steak". so, i ordered nothing

actually, I have to admit that a plant-based diet is excellent for losing weight. primarily muscle and bone mass
