Ngl this looks good. The only issue i have with linux isnt the de's but the lack of support of a lot of things. It would be great with the linux community could just work on one thing and make it good and stop reinventing the wheel. That's the issue with software devs (im one aswell) is that we love to reinvent stuff as soon as we see a crack, lol. But hey big ups to system76. They seem to be really trying to fix these cracks

I'll consider giving it a try, but it'll be difficult to me since I've mostly had experience with Windows, especially Win7, Linux Mint is easy to use due to the Cinnamon DE, same for Kubuntu with KDE, Cosmic's colors seems too saturated, but I hope the customization will make it easy to use, especially as someone who uses the mouse for most tasks.

you need change mic settings are very bad or something else. are you using a pop filter, gain can be too much on your mic above scale.

Can you change the background of your login screen though? I'm a huge fan of GNOME but the fact that gdm doesn't provide you with this most basic feature is ludicrous. lightdm has had it for 10 years now. Also, why does it take so long to tell you "incorrect password" if you mistype your password at login?

The above not withstanding, I cannot wait to try out Pop_OS 24.04. It will be another hit, I'm sure.
