I have been an avid Pop Os user until today, when I accidentally broke packages while manually updating. I have been updating Pop using Pop shop ever since I installed it, today is the first time I used terminal to update and it spelled demise for my system. 😅

I use both. I used to prefer pop os because they managed to remove snap. but snap isnt as bad as it used to be. And full disk encryption is easier to set on pop initially, although the option is available for both. lately popOS looks a lot like macsOS.

With my work- I HAVE to have auto- tiling. I can't stand getting a screen full of something and have to slide it to the side while another one slides out- I need to see them at the SAME TIME and tell what both are doing- and tiling is perfect for this-- nothing for me to switch or move. THANK GOD Pop hasn't changed THAT in their distro----at least not yet.

I"m back on POP again-- after the IDIOTS that make KDE F...d it up trying to make it GNOME.. It's still good- and trying to get use to it-. I miss my tiling on kde- which is why I went back to POP. The new one should come out next month I think... hopefully.

I used to like Pop more but then it changed to the ugly layout it uses now. Rather have the ubuntu look with some of the updated Pop software.

After using KDE for the last few year-- this POP feels SLOW... and laggy-- that's a bummer.. but they F..d up KDE so it's not usable for ME any more. THERE already wAS gnome- why did they have to turn a beautiful PERFECT DE into an gnome wanna be anf f.. it ut?
