Thank you Tim for this wonderful and helpful lesson. It will help me to pronounce some words with right stress without taking help from dictionary.

Btw, I want to add one thing is that the syllable before TION in any word is stressed.

I would say that most of the time when someone doesn't understand me, is because of incorrect word stressing. So everytime when someone looks like didn't understand what I said, I change the stressing, and then there is no problem :)

The verb for placing the piece in the paper.... To Advertise.... this is pronounced ad-ver- TISE... (ties).. you do not ad - ver- tiss- .... same as to harass someone... long and on second syllable.. that is correct

People stress wrong syllable in contribute.... so when someone adds to something.., . The noun is called a contribution.... if you pronounce it your way.. the word contribution cannot even be pronounced at all
