I think every kind of addiction always starts when you don't have a good social life and you are trying to escape something in life

Some points to consider to quit alcohol .
1) stop drinking alone
2) stop meeting people who call you are parties (aise hi aja, peena mat sirf ake bait ja)
3) distract your mind by doing something you love -drawing, walking, playing video games, reading, workout (fitness)
4) Focus on your health by doing workouts .
5) do Breathing exercises (pranayama) which will calm your mind and helps you focus .
6) Pray to god everyday ( getting everyday alive is a blessing )
7) be happy for what you have in your life and work hard to evolve .
8)be humble and talk politely to others .
I hope this helps, please add if I missed out on anything .
Life is a gift, enjoy it to the fullest ❤

Addiction need not be only of drugs/alcohol. It can be of not letting the past go/social media and these are the hardest one to leave because no one seems to know that you're addicted.

I m 37 & proud to say tht never touched alcohol or cigarettes in my life. In an age when girls smoke & drink like there's no tomorrow...I m often asked..."oh when did u quit ?" It's funny how ppl assume tht there cannot b a person who has never had alcohol all their life...lol

I couldn't function socially without alcohol. But I've also been big on fitness as that has played a huge part in helping my social anxiety and depression. When alcohol started messing with my workouts (hungover and lifting do not go well lol) and diet started being detrimental, decided to change. Its closing in on 100 days without alcohol and life has bloody improved in every single way.

Whoever is stressed n have alcohol everyday And feel they are having large quantities one way to stop is hv alcohol alternate days, add workouts and good diet, have good expensive quality alcohol.
