So glad you decided to carry this show onward! It was one of my favorites, and I watch a lot of them. Good recipes and a bit of showmanship and humor will maintain your audience. Good luck!

Glad I found the channel, sorry to hear about Red passing, am sure he will appreciate you keeping the channel up and alive.

So as a British man I have often heard of this dish and always wondered what it is, so here I am and as soon as I can get out and get the ingredients (Carona lockdown), I will try it out and let you know how I got on. Looks a nice easy recipe and loved the way all ingredients just went in the bowl and a little mix and done. Keep up the good work and all the best to you and yours and stay safe!

Mmm.. Meatloaf! I love it. My Grandmother used to make it pretty close to that recipe. Thanks for another great video.

I use a mixer to mix the ingredients. I press the met into the loaf pans, then take and flip the meat in the loaf pain. I use the same ingredients, depending of course on what is on hand.
You ladies are great. I also use the same basic ingredients for meat malls. I have even made meatloaf in a frying pan, browning the sides and then cooking the meatloaf on low.
God bless America!

Looks wonderful. I thought I would add a couple of diversions to this tried and trued recipe. My bride is sensitive to the onions. I use sweet onion and saute just a bit before adding it to the meat just to take the edge off. Regarding the ketchup to the top of the meat. I use 2 T of red wine vinegar with a 1/4 C of ketchup. Man does it give it a nice taste. Try it out, I think you'll like it. Thanks to you gals keep the legacy of Steve alive!!! Carry on!

I want to apologize, I asked a question about Steve's well being a few videos ago. I did not know that he passed away a little while ago. I am so sorry for your loss.

Just tried this and it turned out awesome! I started with 5lbs (ended up using my big soup pot for a mixin’ bowl), filled 2 loaf pans, and had a bit left over. I put that little bit into small Pyrex bowls (just shy of 3”x3” square) and cooked it along side the pans and it turned out awesome as well and is just perfect for throwing in a lunch box or a “midnight snack”.

One other thing that happened was I ran out of ketchup AND barbecue sauce before I could top both pans so I cooked one “bald”. Afterwards I took the bald one out of the pan and put it upside down under the broiler for a few minutes and put a nice crispy layer on the bottom.

Thanks for sharing this!

Great recipe, Ladies. I did this meatloaf this afternoon. Followed your instructions to the letter. This was great! Delicious! I have never made meatloaf before and I wanted my first one to be the one from your video. I made the right choice. Thanks Ladies!!

I watched this video when it first came out and yesterday I made a small meatloaf. I didn't measure very precisely and I only used about 3/4ths lb of ground chuck, but it was a very good meatloaf. I topped it with tomato sauce because I have always liked a moist meatloaf. It was quite similar to my mother's recipe, but I bought breadcrumbs specifically for this and she always used crackers or rice (which didn't work well).

So, thanks for the recipe and the video showing how to make it. I look forward to many more great recipes.
