Great assessment bro. I have serious concerns with NT Wright. He is very intelligent and articulate, but you never know exactly what point he’s trying to make. The only times he is crystal clear is when he tells you what he DOESN’T believe. He considers the death of Christ for the sins of humanity to be a pagan idea. That’s heresy. Wright acts as if he’s unearthing important truths that everyone else must’ve missed throughout the centuries but he’s really just playing fast and loose with the scriptures and making them say what he wants them to say. He’s very intelligent, interesting and persuasive and that’s his appeal. There is nothing new under the sun. There is no new interpretation of the scriptures that the early church missed. He often misrepresents the early church and yet provides no evidence for that claim. Good job!

Just read his books. It´s full of bible verse references. You just pick single verses to prove your statements. Wright puts the cross in the center of his thoughts, e.g. in his book "The day the revolution began".
